THE SCIENCE IS REAL
Decades ago, Reynolds learned how stress, created by outer events, such as being caught in heavy traffic, and inner events, such as negative thoughts and emotions, can all assault the brain and body. He learned and taught others how to willfully manage the body’s response to stress via biofeedback. He established the Stress Transformation Center in Manhattan and conducted research that led to the development of the Mood Stone, a thermal biosensor and biofeedback smart wearable accessory, as well as a popular conversation piece. Medical science had discovered that blood flow to the hands, thus finger temperature, can change over 20 degrees throughout the day, and is a significant indicator of the person’s stress level and mood. The “thermochromic liquid crystals” in the Mood Stone reflected these changes via seven or more colors, indicating the ring wearer’s emotional state.
